Seven Points of Mind Training
Thursday evenings from 8 February 2018, 7-9pm
This course is designed for sangha members who are seeking to deepen their study and practice of compassion through the seven points of mind training. There are no fees for this sangha course; it is included in your sangha membership. It will run for the full year (less breaks) with the option of continuing into 2019. Seven Points of Mind Training (Tib. བློ་སྦྱོངས་དོན་བདུན་མ་) — the famous instruction on 'mind training' (Tib. བློ་སྦྱོང་, lojong) brought to Tibet by Lord Atisha and written down by Geshe Chekawa.
The course will begin with an introduction to Lojong and progress through the seven points.

Point 2: The main practice of training the mind in bodhichitta
Point 3: The transformation of adversity into the path of awakening
Point 4: The utilisation of the practice in one’s whole life
Point 5: The extent of proficiency in mind training
Point 6: Commitments of mind training
